I was a journalist for 20 years, working on The Independent, The Times and The Mail on Sunday before becoming City editor of The Independent on Sunday. I crossed the divide to become director of group media relations at Barclays before joining Fishburn Hedges in 2007.
Where I thrive is dealing with complex issues and communicating them in a digestible way. I specialise in reputation management for clients ranging from big insurers and banks, from computer games makers to football club owners. Ironically, for someone who used to thrive on a by-line, some of my best work has never been seen, and never will be.
